Laceup is a technology consultancy. Software and web work are the core of it — advising on it, building it, and reviewing it before the wrong thing gets built. Photography, video and brand design are a separate service, booked in their own right rather than attached to anything else.

Work inside your constraints
Your release process, your review standards, your brand rules — they exist for reasons that are usually not written down anywhere. Delivery that routes around them moves the work onto someone else, later, when it costs more.
Price the uncertainty, do not hide it
Scope that cannot be pinned down gets named as uncertain instead of quietly padded. It is the more awkward conversation and it produces the better engagement.
Leave nothing depending on us
Documentation for anything non-obvious, editable source files where the work is visual, and a handover to whoever inherits it. An engagement that ends with your team stuck is a failed one, however good the work was.
